The song refers to the stimulating effect that cold gin supposedly has on the male sex drive. The song credits cold gin as the only thing that keeps the couple together in a troubled relationship. James and Thayer would later go on to form Black 'N Bluea band produced by Simmons, and Thayer would eventually join Kiss, taking Frehley's place after the Farewell tour.
Pantera and Skid Row performed the song together live while the bands were on tour together inwith Ace Frehley on guitar as a special guest.
